Agnes DOBBIE Obituary

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on June 1, 2024; aged 97. Loved wife of the late Jim. Treasured mother of Allison, Margie, Lorraine, and Hazel. Adored grandmother of Callan, Alana, Katie, Lauren, Theo and Lizzie and great-grandmother of Luca, Spencer and the late Jordyn. Loved sister of Lesley (dec), Allan, Hugh, Rosalie, and John (dec). Mum was born October 13, 1926, in Wyndham. She was a farmer, church elder, a stalwart of the Red Cross and NCW, Brownie leader, cook, Waimate District Councillor, and a keen swimmer. Our thanks to Dr Sarah Creegan and the team at Lister House for their kindness and care. A service to celebrate Nancy's life will be at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 8, at 11.00am, followed by a burial at the Waimate cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Red Cross would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A delayed stream of the service is available, please email [email protected] or call on 6862148.
