Robert Noel (Noel):
Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in his 89th year; dearly loved husband of the late Bobbie, much loved father and father-in-law of Lesley and Les, Pene and Phil, Robyn and Nigel, loving grandfather to Aija, Emma, Ben, Kam; Tessa, Finn, Tyson, Dylan; Robert, Bradley (deceased), Michael, Alice and all their partners: Alex, Darren; Bryce, Pip, Aimee; and Jess, and cherished great-grandfather of Vincent, Luca, Hunter, and Mila, beloved brother of Betty (deceased) and Jean, and brother-in-law of Mary, Bill, and Bill, and loved uncle to his nieces and nephews: George, John, Brendan, Lee, Jamie (deceased), Liz, Andy, Mary (deceased), Ann, Mark, Andrew and Stephen. A service to celebrate Noel's life will be held at Seven Oaks Reception Centre, 64 Wai-iti Rd, Timaru, on Monday, March 2, at 2.00pm. The family wish to sincerely thank Dr Griffiths, all Medical staff at Timaru Hospital, District Nurses and Presbyterian Social Services for their outstanding support and care. Very sad to hear of your loss. Noel was a kind man and a great swimming coach - many good memories of early morning swimming sessions with Noel patiently walking the laps and giving great advice. Jill Ashton
