My sympathy for your loss, I have only recently become aware of Wynne, when looking through papers inherited from my late mother Jocelyn Raymond, who I believe was in contact with Maureen and Sinclair Raymond about the family tree years ago, but am uncertain of the family connection.
If I can be of any help please let me know at [email protected]
Reading the entries in the book shows that Wynne was a fine man.

Kate Horst and extended families
So very sad to hear of Wynne's passing. He was such a treasure, a brilliant communicator and always charming company. My thoughts and love as you celebrate his life today. I know you will give him such a lovely send-off which I am very sorry to miss due to flu.

Wynne was an active and valued member of the South Canterbury Drama League and was involved at many levels including becoming president in 1970. In 2009 he was appointed our patron and as such cast an avuncular, friendly and interested eye on all aspects of the League. His involvement in the League was just one example of his active interest in community groups as he saw their role as crucial in building a healthy and vibrant society. Our deepest sympathies are extended to Wynne's family. From President Chris Thomas and members of the SCDL.

Wynne was a great friend and, although we were not as close after Pam and I moved to Australia, we always saw Wynne and Nan when they visited or passed through Sydney. I am very sad that a good friend for so many years has left us.
