Margaret and dad, David, were a delight to see when they were together. Always laughing and full of tales of their youth. They had a closeness which bypassed the distance they lived from each other.
Dad always talked to us fondly of his sister.
I remember Margaret with happy memories as a caring and compassionate woman.

Aunty Margaret (as we used to call her) was a wonderful friend of Ruby, our mother and all the Martin clan send their sympathy. We all have lovely memories of the fun times with the family when we were young and also at important birthdays and celebrations since then. I think the last get together that Margaret and Mum had would have been at was Margaret's 90th birthday party which I took Mum to. She did enjoy it. They are both at peace now and we have lovely memories of our wonderful mothers who were best friends for life.
