Philip WAKEFIELD Obituary

WAKEFIELD,
Philip George ''Winkie'':
On his way peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Youngest son of the late Joan and George. A character of a brother and brother-in-law of Gay and Rob, and his late brother Ian and Di, Kiwi Uncle Phil to niece Emily and Tim in Canada. "Winkie" was a guy who lifted the 'spirits' of everyone around him. He was soon to be 59. Phil spoke very highly 'always' of the excellent care and emotional support he received from Family Dr. Ram Vara and his dedicated team, along with Medical staff at Timaru Hospital, Hospice support staff and the teams from St John Ambulance. A farewell to Winkie to be held in St Joseph's Hall, Denmark Street, Temuka, on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 1.00pm.
